Keybridge, Vauxhall

Residential development of 598 apartments by Mount Anvil in partnership with A2Dominion

Role

Production Director, working with the technical, cost, and construction teams to deliver this landmark scheme whilst maintaining relationships with our JV partner, A2Dominion (Housing Association) during construction

UK's tallest (36 storey) brick clad residential building.

The development included 6 main blocks over a two storey basement, and construction of a new primary school.

For phase 1, we retained the existing two storey basement structure and created new foundations for the tower by piling through the existing structure from ground level using techniques similar to top-down construction sequencing.

To overcome the extensive construction duration required for brick-clad towers, traditional hand-laid brickwork was used up to level 10, whilst at the same time, installing unitised, brick-faced pre-cast concrete facade panels, fabricated in Latvia, from levels 11 to 36.
