Production Director, developed construction strategy and sequencing for this large regeneration project designed by Squire and Partners in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The basement extending under the entire development site houses leisure, business, parking and central plant facilities. To reduce the overall load of the buildings, we used thin stone veneers on an aluminium honeycomb backing on the facades fabricated in Texas, USA. Specialist joinery was manufactured in Abu Dhabi.
Each of 17 blocks was designed with around 80 homes. A sensitive approach to logistics was required as construction progressed down the development site with occupancy following closely behind.
